Terms & Conditions

All booking fees are non refundable. Cancellations need at least 14 days notice . You'll be required to pay the remaining balance of your training if cancellation is within 14 days of your booked course.

If you don't have a '14 day' period before your booking, please give us at least 48 hour notice of cancellation & get in touch with us ASAP!

Payments

Deposits are required to book your chosen course! The final balance is to be paid on the day your course takes place.

Once a booking is made - the price doesn't change. If there are current discounts/promotions at a later date for your chosen course - your price still remains.

Refunds

All course fees are non-refundable.

Sarah's School of Beauty cannot offer refunds for cancellations that are beyond our control - for example: unforeseen events, weather conditions, natural disasters or visa refusals. We do not take responsible for any loss of income, any loss of costs e.g: travel/accommodation/more that one may experience due to a cancellation.  

However, we will offer an alternative training date!

Reasoning 

If you have a authentic reason for cancellation - proof may be required - we will consider changing your course date (subject to availability). Non-attendance where no notice is given may result in loss of course fees as someone else could've had your spot!

If your cancellation is due to medical reasons - a valid medical certificate of the student and day of the booked training will be required to be able to reschedule & avoid any fees.

 

 Credits will be valid towards training courses only and run for a period of up to 6 months from the date of issue.

Diploma Certificate 

​Diploma certificates are issued on the day of the course!

​

If you require your certificate to be reissued in a new name (evidence required) or a replacement certificate due to it being misplaced - replacement fee is £10.

All Diploma courses are accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT), these are fully insurable courses. 

We still advise learners to check with their insurance companies or councils if for a needles licence whether they need anything else. We will not be held responsible if any changes are made and you cannot gain insurances/licences due to a change in law.

Training

During your training you will be required to give and receive treatments. If you would not like to appear on our social media please let us know when you arrive. Training manuals are provided at the time of booking

 

All courses are taught only in English. All students are therefore required to have a good understanding of the English language (written and spoken).  

 

Students must advise us of any language issues at the time of booking, because we may recommend a one to one training session (at an additional cost). For any special assistance please let us know when booking the course.

Medical Conditions

Please make us aware of any health conditions and/or medications currently taken that may affect your practical training or assessment days.

Please let us know of any medical conditions at the time of booking (kept strictly confidential). Adjustments will be made to accommodate medical conditions where possible and practical. A medical certificate may be required for our own insurance policies. 

Failure to disclose known medical conditions at the time of booking could result in loss of fees.

Needs/Requirements

Please make us aware of any special needs you may - we want your course to run as smoothly as possible.

We would like to include students with special requirements within our training. However for some students this may not be possible, so please let us know and we will try our best to help you.

 

Please note an additional cost will apply for training on a one to one basis. 

Disclaimer

Sarah's School of Beauty has the right (if needed):

  • to alter the timetable, location, number of students in the class, content or method of delivery of courses and/or assessment processes, provided such alterations are reasonable

  • to make variations to the content of courses 

  • to suspend or discontinue courses (for good reason)

  • to make changes to it's regulations and procedures - notice will be given.

  • to discontinue or merge courses, this will not disturb the quality and content of any course.

  • A student can be asked to leave the premises and not complete their course if they show signs of aggression to a member of staff or other learners.

  • In the case of semi-permanent makeup/microblading courses where case studies are due the students’ course can be terminated if they show signs of aggression or threats towards the tutor or other students and said student will not be allowed to complete their case studies and will have to forfeit the course & will not receive a refund.

  • All deposits are non-refundable

  • If the student has any issues with a course or their kit this should be made discussed on the day of the course, we will try to resolve this as fast as we can.

Financial Losses

Sarah's School of Beauty will not be responsible for any financial losses, other losses, damage due to changes to or mergers of any courses.

Students will have to agree to the disclaimer we have given in order to proceed with any courses.

 

** Any of the terms of the contract (Disclaimer) will be enforceable by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any person not a party to it.**

Code of Conduct

This conduct is to ensure that EVERY student has the best experience with Sarah's School of Beauty:

All learners are expected to fully participate including giving & receiving treatments.

Any exceptions to this must be agreed at the time of booking and a female model may be required to be provided by the student in order to participate.

  • Please ensure an enrolment form is signed handed to the tutor. 

  • We can accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of personal property. Therefore we encourage students to leave all unnecessary valuables at home. Any property left behind will be held for 7-14days. Students are responsible for collection of lost items from site, by appointment. We cannot post or deliver any lost property.

  • Use of mobile phones is prohibited during training unless an emergency.

  • No smoking or chewing of gum within the training centre.

  • Students must not consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time!

  • The training centres operate a mixed sex basis for training days and you must be prepared to give and receive treatments from students of the opposite sex if necessary. (any issues with this, please get in touch with us ASAP)

  • Be courteous and respectful to tutors and other learners. No foul language or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Learner registration forms are to be completed at every training session and are compulsory.
